From the Editor...

ANGLE was a side stapled, xeroxed, & hand painted 8.5 x 11 inch poetry magazine I started in 1996. The first issue came out in 1997 when I was 26 years old. What follows is a brief history as to how I got involved with poetry and the friends I met along the way. There may be some gaps... some mistakes, both grammatical and in terms of memory. Oh, well. I also do not make any claims that the following has any literary/poetry world significance. This is just one young man's brief encounter with small press publishing in the mid-1990s.

Scroll down to view/download PDFs of each issue.

YEN AGAT

I did get back into publishing while residing in Bangkok, Thailand from 2000--2006 when I edited a one-off issue of YEN AGAT (Hot Season 2004), plus several chapbooks.

Contributors: Andrew Joron, Barbara Guest, La Rochefoucauld (trs. Steve Hands), Gustaf Sobin, Jeff Clark, Nisa Thongwang, Brenda Iijima, Ko Un (trs. Russell Imbach), Garrett Caples, Richard Tagett, George Kalamaras, Chris McCreary, Junior Delgado, Will Alexander, Brian Lucas

Barbara Guest's poems are slightly different versions of poems that would eventually appear in "The Red Gaze." This issue includes uncollected writings by Gustaf Sobin, Jeff Clark, & Will Alexander (and perhaps others?).

Download a PDF here. Beware: the print is small and the xerox shop did a terrible copying job.
